I am also enjoying the quiet life here I have to say.

No worries I seem to have missed how this started and how it works, can you fill me in at some point please?

Hiya guys
From my research into the last years records of results from the scraper the same theme occurred over and over again.
When the shortlist was created several points need to be observed.
1. When the shortlist has only 3 selections we nail the winner 8/10 times.
2. When the list is 4 or more the horses with C,CD or D invariably win the race.
Here's the rationale
With reference to point 1. - only 3 selections means the fav isn't that much shorter than our selections. Thus we have as good a chance as the fav but with 3 running for us.
Point 2. - more than 3 selections means the fav is generally stronger than our selections prior to the final cut. However we know ours are the trinity horses - OR, TS and RPR. The clincher is those with previous C, CD or D.
Cheers
Dave

5.15 Thirsk
Just for an interest as this is an apprentices race.
The shortlist -
Amis Reunis CD
Two Turtle Doves CD

New Lease Of Life 3rd 8/1
Red Invader
Lilargh 1st 10/1
Leaves us 2 to back.
NOTE:
The Strig is running in this!

Let's get stuck into the 7.20 Wolverhampton
Give us a Reason is really short and looks opposable.
Let's see how it unfolds.

Evening Brian
Hope your well. We're getting the winners alright but ideally they should be a course or distance winner or both.
Suppose we can count ourselves lucky to be catching the winners..
Let's see if we can get the last race winner to round the night off.  cheers
